The “Destroy All Humans!” game originally released in 2005 is getting a reboot! The game, which is considered a cult classic will feature new upgrades, such as new saving systems, player guidance and even combat will be getting a completely modern re-vamp, while still remaining faithful to the original storyline.
The game, as many will remember, follows an alien called Crytosporidium 137 who is sent to earth to search for his counterpart Cryptosporidium 136 after he was sent on a similar mission to harvest human brains to prevent the extinction of his people (as well as regenerate their genitalia with Furon DNA found in human brains). The game is based on Cold War era alien invasion films which, for the most part served as pro-American/anti-soviet propaganda.
To get into the specifics, the game will now feature an up to date saving system modeling somewhat after the improvements made in “Destroy All Humans! 2”. This will come as a relief to those who played the original version on the Play Station 2, Xbox or Wii. In terms of combat, the player will find themselves capable of ding multiple things at once such as using telekinesis, and blasting simultaneously. Another great feature is that the new remastered version will also feature the original voice recordings from the 2005 version, with the added bonus of new dialogue with the original actors, as well as deleted scenes from the original included, and motion capture added into scenes for greater quality.
Destroy All Humans!, one of the first games to bring open world mayhem into the gaming world is now set to be released for the Ps4 and Xbox One early this year.
