Pop Singer Katy Perry is selling her Beverly Hills “guest house” near her home for $50,000 shy of $8 million. The price is set by Perry roughly $500,000 more than what she bought it for (approx $7.45 million) about 2 years ago in December of 2018.
Both the guest house and her main residence are located within an exclusive Beverly Hills gated community. The raise in price is somewat questionable based on the fact that the property hasn’t been altered or renovated much since she took ownership according to Variety.
According to the listing, coming from Brett Lawyer, the home was built in 1960 and has several French doors and windows. Lawyer described it as a “tranquil retreat”. The home spans over 4,400 square feet with a chef’s kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 walk in closets, a bar area, a home office and a main suite with a veranda, and many more qualities.
In 2019, Perry was able to sell 2 multi-million dollar properties to the founder of the Mr. Chow franchise, Michael Chow. She also made headlines when buying a convent from nuns.
