Supreme, in regards to it’s FW20 items in it’s catalogue this year is releasing various and unexpected accessories this year. Some of these include, Lipstick, Binoculars, a fishbowl and others to acknowledge the fact that it is back in its amazingly lovable way.
This Thursday, October 8th, Supreme is set to release the above-mentioned accessories alongside…Toothpaste? Yes, toothpaste. As it turns out Supreme has decided to collaborate with Colgate to crate it’s new, luxury brand toothpaste accessory for FW20. The toothpaste is designed to fight cavities, as well as the limits and expectations of what is expected of luxury fashion.
Given that Colgate toothpaste is one of the most mainstream toothpaste brands, regularly used by 50%+ of all homes (according to a 2015 report), it would make sense for any luxury brand to see an opportunity to make a statement.
Whether or not that statement is the only reason why supreme is making this bold move, or they are genuinely concerned with the dental hygiene of its consumers, Supreme is definitely going to turn some heads with one of its most mainstream partnership campaigns in its recent history.
