Rick Owens and VEJA have just released their third collaboration with the Runner Style 2 and Runner Style Mid both built for sustainability.
The Runner Style 2 is a reimagining of VEJA’s FW19 runner built on a lighter and smoother sole. The V-knit upper is made of recycled polyester from plastic bottles, while a midsole made of sugar cane and banana oil. The outsole is made of natural cork, rice waste and Amazonian rubber.
The Runner Style Mid has the same V-knit upper and features a high top sock silhouette. It also features a bio-based midsole with L-foam cushioning as well as the cnatural cork outsole. The shoe is outfitted with lateral and longitudinal flex grooves for greater comfort.
The Runner Style 2 and Runner Style Mid are available now in-store and online at the VEJA website for $290 and $315 respectively.
