The trailer for Netflix’s sequel to 2018’s The Christmas Chronicles, featuring actor Kurt Russell in the role of Santa Claus, has just been released by Netflix. The original film featured Russell’s real life partner, Goldie Hawn in the end of the movie where she was revealed in the role of Mrs. Claus.
The trailer has the movie taking place 2 years following the events of the first film and sees actress Kate, played by Daby Camp reunited with Santa and the rest of the Claus family. In this sequel Kate is joined (reluctantly) by her mom’s boyfriend’s (Tyrese Gibson) son, played by Jahzir Bruno.
As a result of her unwillingness to cope with the expansion of the family, she runs away to the North Pole to find Santa and encounters the villain Belsnickel played by Julian Dennison, who seeks to destroy the North Pole.
The movie is set to be posted on Netflix on November 25th and will see Chris Columbus of Home Alone and Harry Potter, return as the writer/director.
