According to Ubisoft, the season pass & post launch support roadmap for the upcoming game, Assassins Creed Valhalla will include a Discovery tour, free seasonal updates and a DLC that alloes one to move beyond England to the shores of Ireland as well as Paris!
The season pass for Valhalla will be made up of 1 exclusive quest as well as 2 expansions. The exclusive quest involves The Legend Of Beowulf and the “monstrous truth” behind the famous legend. It will be provided to season pass owners on the day of the game’s launch. The game’s expansions will include “Wrath of the Druids” which will be provided in the spring of 2021, in which Eivor searches a Druid cult in Ireland. Then in summer of 2021, the second expansion “The Siege of Paris” will involve the “most ambitious battle in Viking History”, where the player will infiltrate Paris’ fortified city.
Free post-launch updates will still be available in subsequent seasons to players who don’t pay the $39.99 for a season pass. As of December, the first launching of the game will include a Yule Festival, new player skills and abilities, a new settlement area, a River Raids activity that will be replayable, a raven, cosmetics for your settlement a horse and a longship.
A ranking system will also be included for Jomsviking which is an NPC lieutenantwhich the player can create or recruit from family, the community and/or friends. No significant details have been revealed about the second season of the game (to be released in March 2021), though it will ad an update to the Jomsviking system for new festivals, as well as gear, with a 3rd and 4th season following behind.
Valhalla will also feature the Discovery Tour present in Origins and Odyssey sometime in 2021.
