The iconic movie series, The Fast and Furious is set to end at films number 11, according to Variety. Despite this upcoming end after the next 2 films there is also a chance that the Fast and Furious world will not end with the iconic series itself, rather, the world will still be expanded on via spinoff movies such as 2019’s Hobbs & Shaw.
The last 2 films in the franchise will be directed by Justin Lin. Fast and Furious 9, initially scheduled for a May 2020 release fate will now be scheduled for 2021 due to the pandemic. The Twitter page for the franchise posted this on their account:

According to series star Michelle Rodriguez, F9 will bring the cast into space. Rodriguez was quoted as saying:
“See what happens? People start talking behind the scenes, man. ‘When a movie doesn’t come out and forget about it, things get out. Nobody was supposed to know that!”
