As of Thursday, Tom Holland has released via Instagram and Twitter the first image of him in costume as Nathan Drake for the upcoming “Uncharted” film. the image has him almost identical to the famous video game protagonist in his signature tan shirt, and cargo pants. The post was captioned by Holland as:

Naughty Dog themselves also posted on Twitter, a picture of original Nathan Drake actor Nolan North having a conversation presumably a passing of the torch from one Nathan Drake to another.
Naughty Dog also released 2 more images, those being an artifact inside a wood & metal floor
And a picture of Ferdinand Magellan with the caption: “Meet the shadowy figure without fear and conquer the unknown.” which is a direct quote from Magellan himself.
The film will be an Uncharted prequel film seeing as the 4th and final installment in the game, “A Thief’s End” has already been released as of 2016. A young nthan Drake is accompanied by his mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan, played by Mark Wahlberg. The film may feature an investigation of Magellan’s discoveries during his historic circumnavigation of the globe from 1519-1522.
