Buried deep inside a report from Deadline with regards to the potentiality of James Bond film “No Time To Die” being a direct to streaming movie, it was also reported that Michael B. Jordan is set to make his directorial debut for the upcoming third installment to the Creed film series.
The report stated that despite the James Bond series being MGM’s “crown jewel” they are also working on Creed 3 which “Michael B. Jordan is considering to direct”
The exact quote from Deadline reads: “While MGM is working on a Creed sequel that Michael B Jordan is considering to direct, and a new creative team is aggressively building a promising slate, Bond remains MGM’s crown jewel.”
No other details have been provided, though still, producer Irwin Winkler has it written in his book that:
“I promised Michael B Jordan that he’d get his chance to direct Creed 3”, Per 253 of the book. Per page 272, he restates this. “Last year in a conversation with our Creed star Michael B. Jordan, I offered him the opportunity to not only star in, but also to direct Creed III”.
