The release date for the Nike Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” Coloway has just been announced on Nike SNKRS earlier today and is set for November 28. The shoe was originally assumed to drop on Black Friday of this year, but as it turns out it’ll drop the day afterwards.
The shoe will have a white base with red and black highlights on the midsole as well as the sock liner, heel, tongue and mesh, with the “Nike Air” brand on the heel and a throwback Nike Hangtag inside original packaging.
This is the 3rd time that the colorway “Fire Red” has been made retro style. It’s also the 1st since the original release in 1989, that the “Nike Air” brand is shown on the heel as opposed to the Jumpman logo. The “Fire Red” Nike Air Jordan 4 was one of the first 3 original colorways that were released in 1989 and the first to have a global release.
This particular model was worn by Michael Jorden when facing off against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs when he made “The Shot” which sent the Chicago Bulls to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.
Again the Nike Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” is set to be released on Nov. 28th and will retail at $200 USD, at Nike SNKRS and other select retailers.
