In lieu of its 40th anniversary of the song “Back In Black”, the legendary rock band is making a collaboration with DC Shoes to celebrate the iconic & influential album with an upcoming line of apparel. The collection is comprised of Villain & Infinite slip-ons, the pure the Court Graffik, alongside Josh Kalis’ Kalis Vulc Mid & Vulc Low. It also includes a line of special hoodies and tees, all of which seek to showcase the rebellious soul of AC/DC and skateboarder alike.
Every one of the shoes is colored in black and incorporates the iconic red and yellow logo of AC/DC into all designs. The logo is, for the most part acting as a replacement for the standard branding with the band specific chart toppers. Both slip-on styles also include a print out portrait of the band members across the uppers. The shoes are also decorated with lightning bolts and various sublimated graphics.
The hoodies and tees feature the iconic AC/DC logo on the front with quotes such as “For those about to rock, we salute you” on the back. Many of them feature an enzyme-washed construction to get an aged & faded look.
The 40th anniversary of “Back In Black” celebratory collaboration between AC/DC and DC Shoes will drop on the DC Shoes website on Nov. 7, and the upcoming AC/DC album “PWR/UP will release on Nov. 13.
