The annual tradition of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel to encourage parents to act like they ate all of their kids Halloween candy and filming their kids reaction was originally cancelled with Kimmel asking parents “not to do it because kids have suffered enough.” due to the pandemic uprooting everyone’s lives.
Yet, instead of heeding Kimmel’s announcement, some parents chose to do the prank anyway. Kimmel then shared the submitted clips on his show on Monday night. Even though the prank led to a lot of crying and screaming, there were also a few kids who responded with “it’s okay mommies”
One girl got so angry with her parents about eating her candy that she put the candy bucket on her head. Another little girl responded to the news that it was a prank with: “You still tricked us we don’t like that,” she complained. “Yeah cause, Jesus does not lie. Remember you taught us that?”
A young boy, when learning it was a prank told his parents that he wants “Joe Biden to kick [Jimmy Kimmel] in the face”.
