After an extensive wait, it’s been announced by BioWare that Mass Effect Legendary Edition will be made available for Spring 2021.
The announcement was made on N7 Day, which is where BioWare and fans of the Mass Effect games celebrate all things that are of the games. The remastered version of the 1st 2nd and 3rd mass effect games will be available in 1 collection for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It will also feature additional “forward compatibility and targeted enhancements on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.”

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition includes DLC and single player base content from Mass Effects 1, 2 and 3 with the inclusion of all the promo armors, packs and weapons with a total remastering & optimization for 4k Ultra HD. Casey Hudson, the VP, Studio GM of BioWare said that the BioWare team’s directive “was not to remake or reimagine the original games, but to modernize the experience so that fans and new players can experience the original work in its best possible form.”
