Book publisher TASCHEN, following the launch of its 2018 “Star Wars Archive Volume 1″is going to b releasing its second volume of the archives, focusing on the making of the prequel trilogy between 1999 – 2005.
George Lucas, when developing the prequel trilogy had an emphasized focus on nascent digital tech & expanding on the universe of his creation, adding new creatures & worlds like nobody had ever seen before.
The book was created with supervision from Lucas himself as well as Lucasfilm Studio and focuses on the making of The Phantom Menace, Attack Of The Clones & Revenge Of The Sith. It will also include exclusive interviews with George Lucas, in addition to cast members an collaborators on the prequel trilogy, alongside production documents, story boards, still photos, on-set photos, posters, concept art and pages from the script.
Volume 2 of The Star Wars Archives (1999-2005) is currently available on the TASCHEN website and costs £150 GBP, or roughly $197 USD
