It appears that Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s children have been brought together for the purpose of vulding new makeshift schools in Mexico for kids who don’t have access to online classes, according to reports.
A plot of land was cleared in 6 days by 3 workers in the Bicentennial Extension in Mexico, just north of Culican, that serves as the school’s foundations and will be able to offer schooling to 90+ students. Everything needed to catch up with their education with the Mexican schools remaining closed due to COVID-19.
Additionally, new TV’s Internet routers, books & laptops have been given to students as well as new uniforms & shoes. 3 men that acted as representatives of El Chapo’s children had met with Esmeralda Quiñonez back in the latter part of October. The discussion was over buying a plot of land that was put up for sale. Quiñonez rejected the offer at first, however the kids of El Chapo wanted to help following her begging the local government with school funding assistance.
It was Quiñonez’s belief that to create a school would take too long given these unusual times, though she may not have realized that the family of El Chapo have a strong ability to get things moving quickly. The school was up and running in under a week & Quiñonez was quoted as saying: “Thank God, the children of El Chapo heard about the situation here and showed solidarity,”
