The Roman Colosseum, which serves as the newest (and biggest) model from Lego has just been confirmed for a Nov. 27th release.
The build is comprised of 9,036 pieces and pays homage (rather faithfully) to the towering, innovative Roman structure. The LEGO Colosseum stands at 10.5 inches tall, 23.5 inches deep & 20.5 inches wide with elegant architectural details that boast the historical precision of it’s 3-story high real-life counterpart.
Everything from the Corinthian, Doric & Iconic orders to the surviving columns & archways the build is considerably bdesigned with history lovers in mind. Th set also includes the intricate structure beneath the amphitheater (called a hypogeum) the ancient travertine paving stones present on the walkway & olive trees.
Again, The LEGO Colosseum set will drop on Nov. 27th and will be priced at $550 USD at the LEGO website.
