The iconic Tambour watch from Louis Vuitton is getting an update from Virgil Abloh. The watch reportedly draws inspiration from LV’s Damier Graphite canvass while adding in a combination of black and fluorescent green.
This time around, LV has chosen to move away from minimalism and looking intead towards an athletic colorway drawing from the bold designs of Virgil Abloh. The black strap features green accents that can be swapped out for an even bolder green version. The dial also features the same green coloring.
The whole of the dial is enlightened by the Gaston-Lois Vuitton V signature, which provides a modernized spin on the watch. The dial also showcases the Graphite Damier pattern beneath the hands and indices. The case is comprised of graphite-black PVD with a smoked grey case back.
The watch is now available in a 41.5 mm automatic and 46 mm diameter chronograph on the Louis Vuitton website retailing at $5,750 to start.
