It looks as though the upcoming star-studded sequel to the DC film, Suicide Squad, is getting another star…Sylvester Stallone.
The announcement was first made by Stallone via Instagram, in a now deleted video which was followed by an article screenshot that confirmed the casting. The film is still in its early development stages so detailed information is rare, though we are fully aware of the fact that the project will be directed by James Gunn. Stalone had this to say about it in the caption of the post: “Working with this incredible Director on this astounding project has made this an amazing year, I am a very lucky man to be surrounded by such talent.”
Gunn responded by posting a selfie of him and Stallone
Always love working with my friend @TheSlyStallone & our work today on #TheSuicideSquad was no exception. Despite Sly being an iconic movie star, most people still don’t have any idea what an amazing actor this guy is. ? pic.twitter.com/LFVBoxscKR
