The Air Jordan 13 “Flint”, which saw its first release back in 1997, has become one of the most infamous colorways from the brand. As of now the brand is going to reappear in the new Air Jordan 13 “Red Flint” colorway.
The “Red Flint” is following in close proximity to the Spring 2021 retro reveal of the Jumpman. The shoe chooses to maintain its connection to the classic accents of the “Flint” colorways, however it adds a new spin with a Chicago Bulls-style red coloring.
The pockmarked textile comprises the medial and lateral overlays covered by the Chicago Bills red. These large pieces encompass the crisp leather tongue and toebox. Each of the pieces includes a small bit of black Jordan branding. The lower and upper half of the heels bring the original “Flint” grey suede into the mix with the lateral collar including a bejeweled catseye badge. The grey suede is also present on the midsoles and is finalized by the crescent shaped white rubber outriggers on the outsole.
Neither a price nor a release date has been announced for the shoe, though it’s rumored for a Q1 release in 2021.
