Atmos, following it’s recent adidas collab, is seeking t build a new link-up with New Balance . Staple Design’s Jeff Staple has alongside atmos created a brand new version of the X-Racer Utility recently gained by Bodega.
The atmos X Staple X New balance X-Racer utility derives its inspiration from 2 birds: the crow from Tokyo and the Pigeon from New York, the pigeon being the Staple insignia. These themes are showcased onto the shoe by means of crow and pigeon embroidery featured on the left & right heel guard. The shoe also features fur material on the tongue, and ripstop textile with a gradation print on the upper.
The silhouette of the X-Racer Utility has been designed with all terrain support as the primary focus while at the same time being stylish enough for city wear. The shoe is accompanied by a multitude of co-branded clothing comprised of short and long sleeve T-shirts in addition to hoodies.
The atmos x Staple x New balance X-Racer Utility will be released following the Nov. 21st apparel release via online raffle on the atmos website starting Nov. 24th, retailing at $150 USD.
