The GTA Universe hasn’t really seen a new release since 2013’s Grand Theft Auto V. Following the game’s release it’s seen a re-release for the PS4 and will be released again for the PS5 in 2021. Any GTA fan in existence can see a multitude of reasons to be excite, especially since there’s going to be new GTA content coming soon.
Back on Thursday an online GTA V expansion was teased by Rockstar Games 8 years after the game’s the release. Gamers who investigated the game saw an additional dead body holding a suitcase prior to the announcement from Rockstar. This teaser leads many to believe that this dead body is a new mission with an additional map areas being a posibility.

The teaser trailer makes note of a “Rubio dossier” in addition to a “John Doe” last seen at the airport, which may be a direct reference to the dead body. Fans that chose to dissect the trailer saw a new map flashing on the screen albeit briefly.

This particular news comes following the announcement from Rockstar that the GTA V re-release for the PS5 would be “expanded and enhanced”. Even though that announcement directed its focus towards half of the whole story, touching on “technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements,” it may be safe to say that the re-release will feature new missions.
