According to sources, the cast of the popular Netflix series Stranger Things will be joined by 8 new actors in the show’s 4th season.
The most famous of the actors listed are Robert Englund, best known for his role as Freddy Kreuger in the famed slasher series A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Tom Wlaschiha known for his role of Jaqen H’ghar in the HBO series Game Of Thrones.
Englund is set to play a man called Victor Creel who is a “disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s.” Wlaschiha is reported to pay the role of Dmitri, who is a Russian prison guard that Hopper befriends.

Even though season 3 of Stranger Things had us believing that Hopper was dead, back on Valentine’s day 2020, the Duffer Brother gifted fans a teaser that showed Hopper not only alive, but also a prisoner in the Soviet Union. At the 28 second mark of the teaser we briefly see Wlaschiha as Dmitri.
A new addition to the cast is Jamie Campbell Bower who will be playing the role of an orderly at a psychiatric hospital called Peter Ballard. There’s currently no confirmation that it will be the same hospital as Victor Creel. Alongside Wlaschiha, the Soviet cast list will add on Nikola Djuricko of Genius: Einstein who will be playing a Russian smuggler called Yuri.
In the U.S. however, Mason Dye of Teen Wolf will be playing Jason Carver, a man who’s life gets turned inside out following his move into Hawkins. Sherman Augustus also joins the cast as the no-nonsense Lt. Colonel Sullivan who is under the impression that he knows exactly how to stop the threat that faces Hawkins.
It’s also been reported that Overlord’s Joseph Quinn will “find himself at the terrifying epicenter of this season’s mystery.” playing a character called Eddie Munson. And finally, Eduardo Franco of Booksmart will be playing a stoned pizza delivery guy called Argyle who becomes Jonathan Byers’ new best friend.
