What’s CAPCOM’s New Retro Console?

Fans of the Retro gaming aesthetic rejoice!

 

According to sources, the Japanese gaming developer CAPCOM has built a miniature arcade station that carries some of the most famous Mega Man and Street Fighter titles. The station’s design has the goal of evoking the feel of the arcade and computer stations of the good ol’ days, featuring an 8-inch screen in front of an arcade-style control pad that include a joystick and 6 buttons colored in yellow and blue. The station also features an HDMI output in addition to a headphone jack for a more immersive gaming experience.

 

The games included move across the Mega Man and Street Fighter franchises that include, Mega Man Soccer, Mega Man 2 The Power Fighters, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Super Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II, Mega Man & Bass, Mega Man X, Mega Man: The Power Battle, Super Stree Fighter II, and Street Fighter II Champion Edition.

 

For thos who are interested, CAPCOM’s Retro Station is available on Amazon Japan and is scheduled for a Dec. 1st release date, speculated to retail for $210 USD
