The adidas adizero adios Pro has been quite the success in 2020. Following adidas bestowing on the show the title of “record breaking shoe” back in June, it only took 2 months prior to Kenyan runner Peres Jepchirchir to dawn the shoes before setting a new world record for the women’s half marathon.
Currently the sneaker is getting a 2nd re-imagining following the “Dream Mile” rework featuring a beautiful colorway called “Sunrise Bliss” which references the shoe’s roots of record-breaking performances, namely the 2008 world record set by Haile Gebrselassie in Berlin wearing the “Solar Yellow” showcasing the most traditional colors on the shoe playing as a nostalgic honoring of the successes and feelings of the athletes that wore adidas throughout the brand’s history.
The adizero adios Pro creates newer innovations that improve the speed of runners and facilitates the brand’s groundbreaking EnergyRods: 5 carbon-infused rigid rods that assist in building up the running capacity providing longer running speeds.
Improved by the LightstrikePRO midsole, the shoe offers light cushioning that supports explosive movements with speed at the forefront. The “Sunrise Bliss” will have its debut at the Dec. 6th Half-Marathon in Valencia.
The official release date will be Dec. 1st at the adidas webstore retailing for £170 EUR, roughly the equivalent of $226 USD
