While still in the developmental stages, the film is described as a combination of the 1993 movie “The Firm” starring Tom Cruise and Jordan Peele’s film Get Out. Forty Acres reportedly centers around a civil rights lawyer that needs to fight to survive following his enlistment in an elite Black society that has a shocking secret.
This makes project number 2 from Jay-Z that he has acted as executive producer during the year.
