With everyone and their mother fawning over the PS5, it makes sense that at least on man would be willing to wait an ungodly amount of time to get one. That seems to be the case with California resident Tyler Lopez, who waited a total of 36 hours to get one.
Lopez reportedly arrived at a GameStop in Dublin, California on Wednesday at 8 P.M. in order for him to be the first on line when the GameStop opened on Black Friday. He stated to ABC7 news that it was “definitely relieving” following his purchase of the console. Lopez followed up with “The console itself was already good enough, but now I get to be on the news. Even better!”

The committed Black Friday shoppers were provided donuts and hot chocolate by the Dublin Police. Tyler’s father, Rodney stated that “That was above and beyond,” he said. “We were pretty cold and pretty tired at that point but it was really nice of them to do it.” This GameStop at Dublin was, at the time only selling 2 PlayStation 5 consoles and 4 Xbox consoles which sold out at light speed.
