With NBA player Steph Curry scheduled to make a comeback to the B-ball court for the 2020-2021 Season, he’s doing choosing to make his comeback in style with brand new gear. Curry is planning on going the way of Michael Jordan, creating his own brand, but instead of Nike, Curry is going with Under Armour to kickstart his own standalone brand called simply: Curry Brand.
The court ready sportswear line will be featuring a wide range of new footwear, apparel, hoop accessories and more all of which decorated wit the Curry’s new signature logo. Though, that’s not all.
Additionally, alongside the new releases, many more charity initiatives will be put into play with the goal of reaching 100,000 youth athletes around the glove by 2025. These will all b oriented towards Basketball and seeks to create 20 minimum, safe playgrounds that can support 125 programs benefiting young athletes alongside providing new opportunities to develop and train 15k+ coaches.
Curry had this to say on this project: “Curry Brand is all about doing good in everything that we do…I’ve tried to embody that in my own actions, and I think it’s also something that other people can really get behind no matter where they are in life or what their goals are, sports or otherwise. We all have the ability to impact the next person and to give back in some way, and that’s more important now than ever before.”
The 2 time MVP’s newest project ill be released on Dec. 1st with the initial Curry 8 release on Dec. 11th through Under Armour.
