The game developer responsible for some of the most acclaimed games franchises such as Uncharted, The Last Of Us and Crash Bandicoot have made the announcement that Neil Druckman will be promoted to the position of Co-President of Naughty Dog. The vice presidents named were Christian Gyrling and Alison Mori.
Druckman, was responsible for the making of The Last Of Us alongside the former director of Naughty Dog, Bruce Straley and has over the last 10 years has led the development of some of the development studio’s most memorable games. Druckman also acted as creative director on The Last Of Us, The Last Of Us Part 2 and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Alongside Druckman, Christian Gyrling and Alison Mori have also been promoted into their positions as Vice Presidents of Naughty Dog. Gyrling was formerly the Co-Director of Programing and Mori was formerly the Director of Operations.
Evan Wells, the current President of Naughty Dog had this to say about the promotions: “We have such an incredible team at Naughty Dog and being able to work alongside every one of them is especially meaningful these days,” writes Wells. “I feel proud of the team when I’m able to recognize their accomplishments and contributions to the studio.”
