Following the announcement in November that tech giant Apple would be replacing shoddy pairs of AirPods Pro a similar program is being launched for a glitch that affects the iPhone11 displays.
The tech giant has just begun with its iPhone 11 Display Module Replacement Program For Touch Issues for what Apple claims s a “small percentage” of iPhone devices that were made between Nov. 2019 and May 2020 that do not respond to touches based on a display module issues. Users of the iPhone 11 are allowed to enter in the serial number of their phone so they can determine whether or not they would be eligible for the service. If you have any reason to believe that the issues on your phone have been caused by the glitch but have already paid for the repair, you can get in touch with Apple for a refund.
Still, the phones that are affected by other issues such as screen damage that would obstruct the display repair will need to have those issues fixed prior to receiving the free tune up.
