The developers thanked fans for their patience with the game’s development, writing: “We are excited to put this game in your hands, as we retell the story of the Prince and Farah in a reimagined 11th century Persia,” they continued with: “However, 2020 has been a year like no other. Today we wanted to let you know that we are taking additional time to work on the game….We believe this is the right call to ensure we deliver a game you will enjoy.”
The remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be retailing at $39.99 and will be made available for the Xbox On, PC and PS4 through the Epic Games Store, the windows Ubisoft Store and UPlay+. It’s been stated that there will not be any next-gen versions of the game, however the game will be playable on thos consoles through backwards compatibility.
