The accompanying soundtrack for the Netflix movie, Mank from David Fincher created by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross has just been released.
The soundtrack has a runtime of just over an hour and a half and includes 50 tracks with curated choices of instruments from the 2 musicians. Songs such as “Enter Menace” showcases a darker tone, featuring wind and string instruments, meanwhile songs such as “(If Only You Could) Save Me” and “Every Thing You Do” provide a more exciting Jazz era sound.
The film itself, Mank, centers on the screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz has he creates the script for the 1941 blockbuster Citizen Kane. David Fincher uses a script that was penned by his late father Jack Fincher with Gary Oldman playing the title role. The film also features the likes of Lily Collins, Charles Dance, Amanda Seyfried, Bill Nye and many others.
