Rapper, producer and recent shooting victim Benny The Butcher has just dropped his newest single called “3:30 In Houston”, which talks about the shooting that put him in a wheelchair.
The incident occurred in Houston, Texas when the rapper was threatened with a gun during an armed robbery. The single describes the incident as an act of Karma. Benny recalled other past incidents that he is of the belief led to this horrible occurrence: “Rolls Royce truck, they said we stood out, only one mistake, I ain’t have a lookout,” Benny’s lyrics read. “Quarter in jewels, shoppin’ at Walmart, take me out the hood, but can’t take the hood out.” The track continues with darkly toned instrumentals that give an background expression of Benny’s lyrics placing emphasis on lines such as “Out the hospital to a private jet, the bullet really ain’t damage nothin’ / N***s would’ve been in my position, I bet they would’ve hit the panic button, man.”
