A new update is reportedly coming to the Nike Air Max 97. The shoe moves away from the more recent darker models such as the ACG Terra-inspired Air Max or Nike’s collaboration with UNDEFEATED in favor of “Pine Green” accents that bring out the clean white coloring.
At the top of the sneaker is a mini-Swoosh embroidered over a leather patch encompassed by 2 thin ripstop strips that blanket the lower part of the tongue. Aside from the subtleties of the accents such as a branded heel stay, thin top-stitching close to mudguards and a miniature Swoosh surrounding the midsection, the uppers have a white coloring and very minimalistic. The uppers also feature textural contrast between the leather and mesh materials. Every single one of these details are laid over a full-length Air sole unit with a “Pine Green” outsole underneath.
The Nike Air Max 97 “Pine Green” is speculated to drop in the next few weeks, though no formal release date has been announced. They will be made available at the Nike Webstore and will be retailing for $170 USD.
