The upcoming sequel to 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home from Marvel Studios looks to be one of the most ambitious comic-book movies ever made, bringing together 3 different Spider-Man franchises via the multi-verse.
Currently it’s rumored by The Illuminerdi that Willem Dafoe, as well as Thomas Haden Church will be reprising their respective roles as Norman Osborne/The Green Goblin & Flint Marko/Sandman from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy. Even though both are still in negotiations with their respective casting deals with nothing either confirmed or finalized, it has been said that both characters have always been a part of Marvel’s plans for Spider-Man 3. The rumors come following a vast array of castings of actors who made appearances in the older generations of Spider-Man franchises. Just recently it was announced that Alfred Molina will be reprising his role as Doctor Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus in the upcoming film with prior announcements include Andrew Garfield, Kirsten Dunst and Jamie Foxx with rumors suggesting Tobey Maguire will be reprising his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in addition to other rumors stating that Spider-Man 3 will also see the return of Charlie Cox to the role of Matt Murdoch/Daredevil.
