Prior to its upcoming release later on this month, Warner Bros. has just dropped a preview of the opening scene for Wonder Woman 1984 from DC Comics.
The preview clip has a run time of 3-minutes where fans of the DCEU franchise receive a new adventure to the Islands of the Amazon (not the shopping site) the homeland of Wonder Woman as she develops her superhuman skills via a grueling training process alongside contests of athleticism and strength. The preview then cuts over to Diana in the present day as she saves the day fighting bad guys with her super-speed in addition to her bulletproof Lasso of Truth.
Wonder Woman 1984 brings Patty Jenkins back to the director seat in this highly anticipated sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot will also be returning to her role as the iconic Amazonian princess alongside Chris pine reprising his role in the franchise in addition to newcomers to the series Pedro Pascal & Kristen Wiig wh are set to be playing Maxwell Lord and Cheetah respectively.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set for a Dec. 25th 2020 release fate in both theaters and on HBO Max. In the meantime, you can check out the preview below:
