Social media giant Twitter has just begun its trials of audio feature Spaces prior to a possible larger release in 2021.
In a similar fashion to the social media app Clubhouse, Spaces will be an audio chat room that provides users the ability to build a “space” that will bring followers to join in various discussions on a limitless range of topics. Even though only hosts have the ability to control who is involved in the conversation, anyone on Twitter will b able to listen in.
Watchers can also send emoji reactions throughout the audio with that audio rumored to come along automatic transcriptions as a part of a wider release in 2021. Even though the current test is only available to a certain group of users, a much larger global test early next year will be made available and will provide a closer examination of Twitter’s newest feature.
