Forbes’ list of the highest paid YouTubers of 2020 has just come in and it appears that Ryan Kaji has taken home the title of Highest Paid YouTuber for the 3rd year in a row at only 9-years old.
According to the report, Kaji made a total of $29.5 million USD, which is $3 million USD more than he made in 2019. In that time he was able reach up to 12.2 billion views with 41.7 million users. The 9-year old is best known for his family storytime videos, DIY science experiments and toy unboxing videos, though the majority of his income came for licensing deals for over 5,000 Ryan’s World Merchandise. The items listed span from action figures, & walkie-talkies to masks and bedroom decorations sold at Amazon, Target & Walmart.
At number 2 is Mr. Beast AKA Jimmy Donaldson who was reported to have earned a total of $24 million USD via his merchandise and stunt videos, and then the five-man group Dude Perfect takes the spot at number 3. Taking the spots for numbers 4, 5 & 6 are Rhett & Link, who took home $20 million USD, Markiplier, who took home $19,5 million USD and Preston Arsement who took home $19 million USD respectively.
