The upcoming 3rd installment in the Creed trilogy is reported via co-star Tessa Thompson, to see Michael B Jordan taking over the director’s seat & making his directorial debut.
Thompson who portrays the girlfriend (Bianca) of the main character played by Jordan in the movies recently unveiled the news in an interview with MTV news that the 33-year-old actor will be bringing his creative vision to the director’s chair for Creed III. She was quoted as saying: “He is directing the next Creed,” she said. “It’s going to be ammo, I think, for me when he is engaging with me as a director. I’m just going to tell him to dial down the sexiness.”
In terms of what fans can expect from Creed III, very little information has been released as of yet, even though Creed II was released back in 2018, although Dolph Lundgren, who played the Soviet boxer Ivan Drago in both Rocky IV and Creed II stated back in 2019 that Drago may be making his return in Creed III. He was quoted as saying: “I’ve heard things about a Creed III. I think Drago is in it somehow,” he said. “I heard Michael B. Jordan wants to direct something, maybe he could direct it like Stallone and Rocky. I hope I’m in it.”
