According to Jared Leto himself, the Suicide Squad actor would b open to playing the Joker again, stating that The Joker is a role that is “hard to say no to.”
Per a recent interview, Jared Leto mentioned his experience playing the infamous Batman villain and exactly why he would be open to reprising the role. “It’s hard to say no to that character,” said Leto. “There are a very few characters that you play that have absolutely no rules, you know, that you could just go to town with and it’s so much fun. I had a lot of fun with that character.”
According to other reports it has been stated that Leto will be reprising his role as The Joker in the upcoming Justice League: The Snyder Cut. This new rendition will be scrapping the scenes shot by Joss Whedon and will be using cut lines and improved visual effects. The Snyder Cut will also be featuring $70 million USD worth of re-shot scenes featuring Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot.
Justice League: The Snyder Cut is set-to-be released in March of 2021 on HBO Max.
