Next Level Games, following over a decade of games for Nintendo, has been acquired by Nintendo at last.
The developing studio based in Canada has been working with Nintendo since 2005 to make hit games such as Super Mario Strikers for the Nintendo GameCube (you remember that old console? It was awesome). The latest game from Next Level Games, Luigi’s Mansion 3, debut as a smash hit gaining a great deal of critic praise and popularity amongst Nintendo gamers. That being said, Nintendo obviously liked the level of value Next Level Games is capable of leading to this acquisition.
Meanwhile no specific parameters of the acquisition have been released by either company, although the statement given by Nintendo says that thy will be acquiring all the outstanding shares of Next Level Games that are presently held by the employees and directors of Next Level Games. The statement also said that the shareholders Believed it was time to put their shares up for sale, the reason has yet to be disclosed.
Nintendo’s acquisition of Next Level Games is projected to conclude on March 1st 2021.
