The laptop making giant, Intel had its first major conference, CES 2021 where it hinted at several exciting products and processors to be released in the future.
Starting up with the most noticeable one the Alder Lake is set to compete against, Apple’s ARM M1 chip. Intel is keen on using the Alder Lake as the base of future desktops and laptops shifting its focus from mobile platforms. The Alder Lake will feature a hybrid-architecture which can also be seen in Apple’s ARM. This potential flagship chip will reach the markets possibly after July month of 2021.
The second product introduced was the Tiger Lake 35W and 45W Processors for laptops. This rebooted version of 35W and 45W processors will shift the speed to 5.0 GHz. These processors will also consist of 8 cores and PCIe Gen 4, Thunderbolt 4, and WIFI 6/6E to enhance the GPU Performance.
The 10 mm SuperFin process will be electrifying the low-end devices in the result of Jasper Lake. The Premium Intel Silver and Celeron processors further add to the performance boost by more than 30% and graphic performance by 78%.
And lastly, on the security part, Intel announced vPro and Evo vPro. Both the platforms will offer even better security and features to tackle business obligations than the previous platforms.
