According to drake’s record company, The Canadian rapper has achieved a huge milestone by becoming the first artist to attain 50 billion streams on Spotify, the world’s leading streaming platform.
It’s been a series of good news for Drake, whose hit-album ‘Scorpian’ officially became the first album to gain a billion stream in its first week of release, creating records on all the major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple music. A news release from Republic Records Media, featuring Young Money, Cash Money, and Republic, confirmed the 50 billion total Spotify streams amassed by The Boy.
Chartsdata, confirmed 36 Billion streams for Drake as the lead artist, whereas In a supporting act reports predict it to be over 14 Billion streams. The stream’s actual number can be much higher than the expected number as smaller linking webpages, and vulnerable account views are not considered.
