To inspire people to apply for Tesla’s New Cell team for battery production, The automotive giant has released a descriptive video enlightening the viewers, how the batteries of Tesla are made.
Filmed in Comment C’est fait documentary style, The video showcases a step-by-step detailed manufacturing process, converting raw materials to the final finish goods. The video gives us some quick insights into the machinery’s working and the automation that Tesla uses.
A brief abstract from the team/job is quoted as follows –
“To achieve the transition to sustainable energy, we must produce more affordable EVs and energy storage while building factories faster and with far less investment. The key to this is terawatt-scale battery production and far more affordable battery cells. At Tesla, we build cars and factories from the ground up. Now we do the same for batteries. Join us to solve the next generation of cell engineering, manufacturing, materials, equipment, and operations challenges ahead—all in one vertically-integrated team.”
Battery cell production is the fundamental rate-limiter slowing down a sustainable energy future. Very important problem. https://t.co/MYOUSAC2AK
