What is Samsung Galaxy’s latest device SmartTag?

Samsung has just released a new gadget that helps you track any object you lost or misplaced. Known by the name of “Galaxy SmartTag,” the device is a small BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) Dongle that can be hooked to any small or medium object like Keys, luggage handles, Pet collars, etc. 

If you wish to use this hi-tech gadget, all you need to do is connect it with your Samsung Galaxy smartphone, using Samsung’s SmartThings app. Completing the previous step will open the last known location of a lost object and display a proximity indicator. The disadvantage that Samsung’s SmartTag possesses is, it is only compatible with Samsung Galaxy Mobiles. Another limitation that can be noticed is its tracking range, which is 120 meters only. 

Beyond the tracking feature, The gadget also facilitates One-touch LoT controls, allowing users to switch on/off other Samsung devices in the house. The SmartTag gadget can be a useful gadget for those who tend to misplace essential things In the house.
