Tesla’s owner, Elon Musk, has been one of the most entertaining active Twitter-user over the years, but that might not be the case anymore as Tesla announced it is hiring support staff to reply to some of the tweets he receives. Tesla’s Recruiting Managers are busy lately as Tesla also announced that it’s looking for people to join its new Cell Team for battery production.
This new job role will be called “Energy Customer Support Specialist,” and its main duties to fulfill will involve “handle a variety of customer issues while delivering on world-class customer service,” according to the job description. “The role of the specialist is to solve and manage complaints through fitting channels and direct social media escalations directed at the CEO with proper reasoning.”
These new openings are an indirect substitution of Tesla’s PR department that the Auto giant shut down a year ago — the job listing elaborates support specialists as “the front line and face of the Tesla brand.” Elon’s Tweets over the years has been a mix of humor and motivation, while controversy adding the spices, so it isn’t surprising at all that the now World’s richest person is thinking about taking time off from the platform.
