The organizers of the Ultra Music Festival have officially called off the Ultra Music Festival for the year 2021. The organizers are reportedly working with the Miami city officials to carry forward their approved permit for the next year.
This marks the second consecutive year; the Ultra Music Festival has been called off owing to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. Fingers Crossed, Organizers are hoping that everything will get back to normal so that the UMF can be conducted on March 25-27 next year.” We anticipate that the City will again invoke the Force Majeure clause. We respectfully request the rescheduled dates to be March 25, 26, and 27, 2022,” and for Ultra’s payment obligations to Miami “be deemed modified to correspond with the rescheduled dates.” as said by Sandy York Ultra Music Festival’s attorney.
The 2020 cancellation of the Ultra Festival saw a class-action lawsuit on behalf of Ultra ticket holders when the organizers refused refunds and instead carried-forward the tickets to Ultra 2021. Now with Ultra 2021 cancelled, Will the tickets be carried forward to 2022? We’ll have to see.
However, Ultra International shows are still moving forward with the plan, such as Ultra Taiwan, which features the likes of Alesso, Slander, and Kayzo.
