To strengthen the vaccination process in the U.S, World’s most prominent search engine, Google, has announced a $150 million pledge to extend its help in providing greater education and equitable access concerning vaccination.
The breakdown of $150 Million will be $100 million in displaying Ads, while the rest of $50 Million will be acquired in partnering with national health agencies. . The company will also help people with state and region-specific info. Regarding vaccine searches via its search engines — such as whether you’ll need an appointment for taking vaccine and list out different vaccination centers on Google Maps.
At the same time, Google will also be revamping some of its offices across the U.S. into vaccination sites, working alongside One Medical and local public health authorities to set vaccination centers in “buildings, parking lots and open spaces.”
