Expanding with the Old Skool Cap LX line, Vans has just released two brand new colorways: multicolored and black. Vans can be observed taking a funky route to its classic silhouette collection.
Detailing on both occasions, the dispaired patchwork explored some of the sneaker brands’ most aesthetic designs by embellishing them in these renowned silhouettes. Beginning at the toe part is a multicolored stretched flower that moves to a So-Cal-inspired floral lateral upper. Vans’ signature checkerboard overlay evenly compliments this to the front and tartan print covering the heel. The inside body consists of dotted embroidery into the mesh with a striped overlay contrasting toward the toe. The eyelets feature suede, striped, and Digi-camo patches with a ribbed tab mowing one side downwards, whilst the double tongue is the integration point of all the sneaker’s design.
The sponged collar is distributed into two halves, consisting of a Digi-camo design and cloudy print on both sides. The same sponge material is shifted to Vans’ iconic stripe to create a floating specter. With various tabs across the sneaker, the standout feature is Vans’ “Please Tear Here” tag peeking from the tartan heel, and its labeled “OFF THE WALL” heel plate turned on its head.
Both Colorways of Vans are priced at $112, Available to purchase at the HBX website.
