Frequent collborators, A.P.C. and Brain Dead, have come together for a charitable cause, releasing a brand new tote bag to assist the Luminous Sound fund, created to support groups worldwide who work in communities that give equal access to music education and assets to the future generation.
The simple yet spectacular tote bag drops in black and features A.P.C. and Brain Dead’s co-branded logo on the front side and the word “UNITY!” on the back, creating a color contrast by white hue.
100 percent of the proceeds will go towards the New Orleans, Los Angeles-based youth music organization, The Roots of Music. The non-profit plans to empower the youth of New Orleans by identifying the rich musical history of their city and provides programs that consist of music theory, instrumental instruction, and performance education for children aged nine to 14 who come from Poor-families.
“Partnerships like this one with Brain Dead and A.P.C. are crucial to our success. We are grateful that they recognize the importance of investing in New Orleans’ music, culture, and youth. New Orleans music matters, and our youth matters. Thank you so much for this partnership!” Executive Director Suzanne Raether said in a statement.
The A.P.C. x Brain Dead tote bag will be up for sale at Brain Dead Studios Fairfax. You can also purchase online on the Brain Dead website from February 2.
