In its efforts to make the Gameplay Fair and Square, Activision has now banned almost 60,000 accounts across the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
The announcement was shared through a tweet from the game developer, with the message reading, “We have zero tolerance for cheaters across Call of Duty and Warzone.” a link was also attached to a blog post elaborating what action the company has taken so far in fighting off hackers and the areas it aims at improving on. These areas include having zero mercy for cheat providers, upgrading anti-cheat software, installing additional detection technology, adding new resources dedicated to proctoring cheaters and imposing penalties, enforcing consistent and timely prohibitions, and maintaining regular communication advancements on the developments of the company in these pursuits.
